Recently nominated for the title of ‘Event Producer of the Year,’ Kwame Knight is a British event producer & planner working in the UK and globally.

He is known for his ability to bring together all the elements that create a successful event. He has a passion for transforming any space and event, whether it’s for a professional business meeting or an unforgettable party and turning them into theatrical backdrops or immersive experiences for corporate, commercial & private purposes.

Kwame has been in the events and entertainment industry for 20 years. His extensive experience has led him to work with world renowned brands, companies and celebrities, and he has enjoyed an interesting journey in the creative world.

He is also a professional DJ & Presenter regularly requested for corporate commercial and private appointments in the UK and globally working for world renown brands and private indiviuals.

Examples Of Work

dANCE

Kwame has danced for many popular music artists, including Kylie Minogue, Tom Jones and Girls Aloud, performed on Top of the Pops, CD:UK and The Graham Norton Show. Kwame featured in numerous music videos, commercials and live touring shows. He has travelled across the globe and has featured in Hollywood and Bollywood films.

Choreography

In 2004 Kwame set up the studio Accelerate Productions (an all in one agency specialising in dancers with the ability to model), and transitioned into a choreographer. One of his first projects was to direct a photographic campaign for Vodafone. He fell in love with the whole process of creating projects. He has worked with record companies Polydor and Virgin Records on artist development and choreographed and directed fashion shows, product and experiential events working for brands such Emporio Armani, Adidas, Reebok, Stella McCartney and Cinque. His extensive knowledge led him to be commissioned to consult on the dance show “Viva Ferrari” in Abu Dhabi.

Kwame recalls one of his most memorable events as being flown to Malaysia to direct and produce a fashion show inside the Petronas Towers, 451 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest fashion shows to ever take place.

mODEL

While performing as a professional dancer, Kwame was accepted by a modelling agency, and subsequently modelled in campaigns for brands such Harley-Davidson, MasterCard and HSBC to name a few.

Music

Kwame has loved music from a young age. He recalls playing he first vinyl record by Marvin Gaye. Growing up in a home filled with music, he gained a love for disco, funk, R&B, soul and rare groove. Kwame has continued his love of music and is a multi-genre DJ playing at events in the UK and globally.

Events by Knight

In 2014 he established the Events by Knight studio to produce, plan and manage all aspects of events for corporate, commercial and private clientele under his ‘Events by Knight’ label. He produces events for world renowned brands, companies and individuals.
