Someone at the party has been murdered and the culprit’s still in the room. Figure out who it is whilst the murderer tries to remain undetected. Each member of staff must stay in character all night. Either write your own Christmassy murder script or download one from the Internet, bring along some props and costumes and let everyone play their part.
Around the World Christmas Party
It’s likely you’ll have a multicultural staff list, so why not learn how different countries religions and cultures celebrate Christmas? You could encourage staff to dress up in traditional national costumes, bring appropriate festive food and dance to seasonal songs from around the globe. Make things competitive with prizes for imaginative costumes.
Winter Wonderland Christmas Party
Embrace the season with a magical Winter Wonderland theme by decorating your space with fake snow, ice sculptures, snowflakes, polar bears etc. Guests must dress accordingly – woolly hats, gloves, scarves – preferably in white, but can warm up with mulled wine and hot snacks and try to dance on an icy floor covering.
Under the Sun Christmas Party
Christmas down under is often celebrated with a sunny, beach barbecue so why not do something different and copy our Ozzie friends. Who said Christmas had to be about cold weather? Dare your staff to wear beach clothes, bikinis, flip flop or for the less adventurous T shirts and shorts. Bring in some sand, play beach volleyball and quench your thirst with a nice cool lemonade or pina colada. Perhaps Santa could arrive on a surfboard.
Santa’s Workshop Christmas Party
Either set your space up to resemble Santa’s grotto with elves working at fun activities for your staff to join in with or have someone dress up as Santa for your staff to have their photo taken with. You could make it a family Christmas party and invite children of staff members too, including arts and crafts, painting, etc. Play pass the parcel and paint each other’s faces.
