Andaz London Liverpool Street

The Andaz was one of London’s original railway hotels and was formerly known as the Great Eastern.  The exterior is a stunning Grade II listed redbrick Victorian building dating back to 1884, designed by brothers Charles Barry Jr and Edward Middleton Barry but the inside is a 21st century masterpiece which maintains a classy feel and original features such as marble staircases and mosaic floors remain.

The Andaz has welcomed many famous people over the years and it is referenced to have been home to vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing during his first visit to London in Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
