Offering a genteel and exclusive ambience, it was brought to life by the founder of Soho House & Co who were attracted to the disused bank building for its details and its scale. Thanks to an incredible collaboration with the Sydell Group, today the venue is one of the most architecturally unique in all of London with meeting spaces featuring walnut panelling, vintage chandeliers, verdite columns and original, double height, wrought iron domed windows through of which natural light floods in.
Designed with an urbane and gentlemanly chic to honour the building’s banking heritage and giving a nod to New York’s Financial District inspiration, personal celebrations and corporate events can be held in the iconic Tapestry Room, the club-like Drawing Room or the rich interior of the Wren Room. However, the venue’s real talking point is its terraces where guests can relax on the rooftop of this 100-year-old building and enjoy breath-taking panoramic views of London. The venue is designed to accommodate between four and 200 people.
Each terrace offers space for 26 dining or 70 standing. The private event hire space incorporates a dedicated reception area and kitchen as well as bespoke fine dining and menu design from cocktails to lavish sit-down dinners. This makes the Ned a versatile meeting space equally suited for wedding receptions, memorable occasions and corporate events.
Each of the hotel’s 252 bedrooms offer 1920s glamour in abundance with a choice of intimate rooms or more dramatic suites in one of the most luxurious hotels in London.
Located in Poultry, in the financial quarter of the City, the Ned is accessible to both London Underground and British Rail stations. This venue oozes period elegance, majesty and architectural grace, and would make a wonderful backdrop for celebratory occasions and precious photographs.
