Brief:

We were asked to create a luxurious high-end party for a special 16th birthday. The theme for the evening was to transform the room and make it cool for guests of all ages to enjoy themselves.

Events by Knight supplied full event planning, design, production, entertainment and management.

With what we provided this birthday boy would never forget this milestone party! It really was one to remember!

What we did:

The room in the Hallmark Prince Regent was a perfect space for this event as we had a lot of room to create the best atmosphere.

This was a causal stand up event, however we provided low white tables and seating cubes for our guests to sit if needed.

We also installed a gloss white LED dance floor and our production team built a matching white single tier stage and a fabulous LED DJ booth. The backdrop was an LED spilt screen video wall that played cool graphics throughout the night which added to the clubby atmosphere.

We uplit the entire space and installed disco lighting which included lasers, gobos and colour washes.

For the birthday boy the entertainment was paramount to the party.

We provided upright arcade computer games, VR rally car simulators, giant foosball, rodeo ride and a mirror booth to keep the guests entertained.

For the music we had the SuperSonics DJ Live band which comprised of DJ saxophonist and percussionist.

The lighting was a subtle blue colour giving the space a nice ambiance and cool vibes. We provided dancers who did an exhilarating live fire performance and they also encouraged the birthday boy and guests to dance.

Overall the night was a great success! Our team at Events by Knight under the direction of creative producer Kwame Knight worked to create the perfect 16th birthday party.

The dance floor wasn’t left empty all night and we provided a milestone birthday that would never be forgotten!
