Brief:

We were asked plan, design and produce a luxury Bat Mitzvah event for a lovely client of ours

This venue was the historic 5-star hotel Kimpton Fitzroy located in Russell Square, Bloomsbury in central London. It was originally designed by Charles Fitzroy Doyle 2 centuries ago in 1898.

Our private event took place in the Russell Ballroom and the Palm Court. We had 180 guests to cater for during the night for a sit-down dinner and a dance.

What we did:

We organised the room so that we had our adult guests seated on the round tables and then our younger guests seated one long table.

The Russell Ballroom was perfect for these seating arrangements that we wanted as it is very spacious, so we had a lot of room to manoeuvre things around and make sure it looked the best it could be for our client.

At Events by Knight we always go above and beyond to make sure our client gets exactly what they want and for this Bat Mitzvah we transformed the gorgeous ballroom to host our guests a truly special event.

We installed a white multi-level stage white carpeted stage with an LED starlight dancefloor and a floor to ceiling pinch pleat backdrop.

We also had lighting, sound, PA and a florist who created all of our table centre pieces for us. We provided 2 bars for the evening.

One was for the adults which was a curved mirrored bar and the other was an LED bar that was for the children.

In addition to this, a nice touch for our event was the ice Chiavari chairs which looked stunning in our set up.

The event began in the Palm Court which we uplit nicely and we had a roaming saxophonist that was playing for our guests.

Whilst our adult guests were outside in Palm Court having drinks and canapes, the younger guests were in another room which was filled with games for them to play with and enjoy. After this our guests came into the main room for the celebration.

We had a range of entertainment for the evening for our guests to appreciate. We had street dancers, a virtual reality rollercoaster, neuron race, graffiti wall, photobooth, music by the Supersonics DJ Live and even a roaming tattoo artist.

With the beautiful purple/pink lighting, the extensive event design and production and the amazing entertainment for the evening our guests had a wonderful time during this very special Bat Mitzvah event!
