100 Wardour Street is steeped in musical history as it is on the site of London’s iconic Marquee Club where many famous musicians played.
The Marquee Club began as a music venue in 1964 and artists such as David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and The Sex Pistols performed. It closed in 1988.
Conran’s famous Mezzo took it over in 1990s, before the basement was to become the Cuban hotspot, Floridita and the ground floor was a pan-Indian restaurant called Carom.
It wasn’t until 2016 that it reopened as 100 Wardour Street.
100 Wardour Street is a fantastic venue for small or large events, offering areas for smaller, intimate gatherings and spaces that accommodate a large, lavish, full-out celebration.
