The Grove Hotel

The Grove Hotel is a five-star retreat located within 300 acres of the lovely Hertfordshire countryside. This venue was the former home of the Earls of Clarendon and is now London’s inspiring country escape. At The Grove Hotel there is a spa, golf course and amazing restaurants to enjoy during your stay. This venue is the perfect space for an event or celebration with a choice of many versatile spaces.

The Grove Hotel is a stunning venue that will help create a stand out event of any size or celebration. A variety of set ups can be done to the rooms to make an event exactly what is pictured and planned. The range of set ups include Theatre, Classroom, Boardroom, U-shape, Cabaret, Reception, Lunch/dinner, Dinner dance, Seated buffet, Standing buffet and Exhibition.

The largest luxury space in this venue is the Amber Suite. It can host larger events or be divided into up to nine sections for smaller events. This room can fit 700 people if a standing event is taking place or 480 if the event is a seated lunch/dinner. Another suite that is situated in The Grove Hotel is the bright and airy Cedar Suite. It has a lovely view over the formal gardens and has three spacious meeting rooms and breakout spaces. For a seated event the Cedar Suite can fit 168 people and for a standing reception the suite can fit 200 people. At the heart of the hotel the Ivory space is placed. This room has direct access to the formal gardens and can be broken down into five sections to accommodate smaller groups. For a standing reception this room can fit 150 people and for a seated lunch/dinner it fits 120 people.

In The Grove Hotel there is The Walled Garden which has a swimming pool, tennis court and even a beach. Inside The Walled Garden is The Plotting Shed, a restored Victorian glasshouse. For a standing reception 150 guests can be accommodated and for a seated dinner/lunch 70 people can fit. However, the capacity can be increased with the addition of a marquee.

There are some smaller rooms within The Grove Hotel for if the event needs to accommodate much less. The Cinnamon room can fit 120 guests if a standing reception takes place and 70 guests if a seated lunch/dinner is happening. There is also the Silk & Ochre room which fits 56 people standing and 48 people seated. Lastly there are some small meeting rooms, perfect for creative brainstorming. These fit 120 people for a standing reception and 70 people for lunch/dinner.
