The Brief:

Events By Knight has been asked to produce a Corporate Christmas party at the iconic Ministry of Sound venue with the theme of ‘Around the World’.

WHAT WE DID:

Here at Events by Knight, our talented team of skilled professionals under the creative direction of event producer Kwame Knight, organised the event from concept to completion which included conceptualisation, event design, production, entertainment and management.

For this Christmas corporate party we wanted to ensure the event design encapsulated the theme of ‘Around the World’. We transformed five spaces at the venue providing meticulous detail. The event took place over two days with over two thousand guests.

The entrance, we transformed the Courtyard into a Caribbean beach. We brought in larger than life deck chairs, palm trees, surf boards, wooden barrels, a tiki bar and a steel band for the entertainment.

The 103 room downstairs was transformed into a disco era room. We hung drapes from the ceiling truss and designed custom the branding that was shown on the LED screens. The entertainment in this room had a disco DJ, a photobooth, disco dancers and a tattoo makeup artist for our guests to have custom tattoos created.

Upstairs, the 103 room was transformed into a 1950s New York style diner. We added a large jukebox, prop decoration, retro board games on all of the tables and a roller skater artist American dinner style clothes to keep in with the theme.

We transformed the Loft room into a Shanghai karaoke room. We installed lanterns hanging from the ceiling, blossom trees and a karaoke machine for the guests to choose their favourite songs to sing. We also had actors dressed as ninja’s hosting the room.

Finally, we transformed the Box room into a jungle. The room was decorated and filled with foliage hanging from the ceiling and fresh plants & trees around the entire perimeter of the space. Our lighting designer implemented lights with different shades of greens which really enhanced the room. We had aerialists and body painted dancers to make them look like animals, along with a house DJ and live band for music.

Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the two days of our ‘Around the World’ corporate Christmas party. Our experienced team made sure to think of every detail and each of the themes came to life and fully event managed the entire events. The food & drinks were flowing and our guests were up dancing all night!
