The brief:

To plan, produce and manage a corporate Christmas party for 700 guests. The theme being winter wonderland required a full venue transformation and entertainment to accompany the theme.

What we did:

The venue for this particular corporate Christmas party was the Sofitel London Heathrow for 700 guests. The space was hired on a dry hire basis which allowed us to fully transform the space into a winter wonderland for our guests.

We installed a single tier white stage with an LED split screen video wall backdrop and an LED DJ booth programmed to show winter graphics. For the lighting, we installed a truss system with moving heads, lasers and LED uplighters for the entire room and a dance floor area programmed by our lighting technician. A sound and PA system was installed for speeches and music for the event managed by our audio technician. To complete the stage set we installed a white gloss dance floor.

The furniture comprised of white sofas, seating cubes, low coffee table and poseurs. Food stations were also placed strategically around the room to avoid bottleneck queues for our guests, along with two circular mirrored bar units.

For entertainment we had a DJ Live, which was a DJ with musicians to create an immersive music performance. For interactive entertainment we had casino tables and roaming ice maidens. We also created a photographic stage set for guests to be able to take immersive photos with props.

The event was fully event managed by the Events by Knight team to ensure everything went to plan and was a seamless affair from start to finish.
